StockTime in Claude

StockTime is a stock, sales and profit app for clothing shops. The StockTime connector lets a shop owner ask Claude about their own shop in plain words — stock and sizes, prices, best sellers, sales between dates and customer debts. By default it is read-only. If the owner turns on “Claude can add & edit products”, Claude can also add products, change prices, add stock and add photos — always after showing the details and getting the user's OK. Claude can never sell, delete products or touch money records.

Server URL: https://stocktime.io/mcp
Transport: Streamable HTTP · Auth: OAuth 2.1 (sign in with your StockTime shop owner account) · Plan: StockTime Pro

Set up

  1. You need a StockTime shop on the Pro plan.
  2. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, find StockTime (or add a custom connector with the URL above) and tap Connect.
  3. Sign in with your shop username (or e-mail) and password, and allow access.
  4. In a chat, turn on StockTime and ask a question.
  5. Optional: to let Claude add products and photos, turn on “Claude can add & edit products” in StockTime → Settings → Connected accounts.

Without the directory you can also make a private link in StockTime → Settings → Connected accounts → “StockTime in Claude”, and add it in Claude as a custom connector.

Authentication

OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration. Only the shop owner account can connect (staff accounts cannot). Access tokens last one hour and are refreshed automatically; the owner can disconnect at any time in StockTime → Settings → Connected accounts → “Turn off”, which stops access immediately.

Write tools (only when the owner allows it)

add_productAdd a new product with price, cost, category and pieces per colour/size (barcode made automatically).
update_productChange the name, price, cost, wholesale price or category of a product.
add_stockAdd pieces that arrived to a product, for one colour/size.
add_photoAdd a photo to a product from a public https image link.
photo_upload_linkGive the owner a one-time link (24 hours) to pick the photos of the products just added, from their phone.
set_store_detailsWrite a product's online-store details — description, fabric, care, who it is for, old price, weight, hide from website. Sent to the shop's Shopify by itself.

Listed only after the owner turns on the switch. Marked as changing data, so Claude asks before using them. Every change is logged in the shop.

Examples

“What sold best this week?”

Claude calls sales_summary for the last 7 days and lists the best-selling models with pieces and revenue, plus totals and profit.

“Which sizes of the black linen set are left?”

Claude calls search_products with “linen”, finds the model and shows the pieces left for every colour and size.

“Who still owes me money, and how much in total?”

Claude calls customer_debts and lists each customer with the invoice, date, total, paid and amount left, and the overall total.

“What should I reorder?”

Claude calls low_stock (and sales_summary for recent demand) and suggests which models to restock first.

“Look up barcode 8690000000017.”

Claude calls get_product and shows the product, price, stock per size and how many sold in the last 30 days.

“Add these 3 dresses, size 36, one piece each (photos attached).”

With the write switch on, Claude shows the details, and after the OK calls add_product for each, then photo_upload_link so the owner picks the 3 photos from the phone.

Privacy

StockTime only returns the data a tool asks for, from the shop the owner signed in with. Nothing is written unless the owner turned on the write switch. See our Privacy Policy (section “Services you choose to connect”).
